I am a huge fan of Robert Kiyosaki. Many of you may heard of him in regards to his bestselling series, "Rich Dad Poor Dad." He has shared his story and knowledge with all of us in hopes that others could experience life as he has, thanks to the lessons he learned from his "rich dad."
I love his entire series, however there is one book that I think anyone and everyone should read. It is Rich Dad's The Business School For People Who Like Helping People It doesn't matter if you already involved in a Network Marketing company, or if you may be considering whether or not you want to venture into one. In this book Robert explains that building a network marketing business is 1. a revolutionary way to achieve wealth 2. makes it possible for anyone to acquire great wealth and 3. is open to anyone who has drive, determination and perseverance.
What makes his opinion on the industry so strong? Here's why, in his own words...
"Because I did not gain my fortune from building a network marketing business, I can be a bit more objective about the industry. This book describes what I see are the real values of a network marketing business--values that go beyond just the potential of making a lot of money. I finally found a business with a heart."
Robert T. Kiyosaki
After reading this book, you will have a stronger understanding of the entire industry and just how rewarding it truly can be. Not only financially but emotionally as well.
Some of my favorite quotes from The Business School...
"Simply put, a network marketing business, with it's low cost of entry and great training programs, is an idea whose time has come."
"A network marketing business is based upon the leaders pulling people up, while a traditional corporate or government business is based upon only promoting a few and keeping the masses of employees content with a steady paycheck."
"In the world of network marketing, you are encouraged to learn by making mistakes, correcting, and getting smarter mentally as well as emotionally."
"A network marketing business is the perfect business for people who like helping other people."
This is a little something that I have not yet done here on this blog yet. Another blogger, SuperWahm, is running a contest. But it's not necessarily the contest that interests me the most, it's what the contest is about. She is asking people to share why they work at home, or why they would want to work from home. As I have stated before, knowing your "why" makes all the difference. When you have a strong reason why you are doing something, anything, you work harder and stronger so that you can get it done.
It's also fun to see what, or more so, why others work from home also. Check it out at http://superwahm.net/2007/10/14/ready-for-a-contest.aspx
I attended my very first Work At Home Expo in May of this year, 2007. I was literally stuck to my computer day and night the entire time the expo was running. There was so much wonderful and useful information, all provided for free of course. And not only that, but I also was able to share and interact with others and promote myself as well.
I strongly suggest that everyone attend the next Expo which is set for November 13, 14, & 15th. You can register as an attendee for free. Or as an Exhibitor and promote your business, products or service.
This Expo is expected to be better then ever! Take a look for yourself. Click Here!
If you not yet heard of Pat Berry and/or Joe Syverson, you will. In fact, you are now. Both of these men have personally created successful sales organizations in their respective companies, and now share exactly how they did it with all of you. I personally subscribe to their podcast through iTunes so that I am constantly updated with all their new podcasts.
I cannot say enough about all the great information and advice they share here. And it's not one of those boring, barely making it through the entire podcast, sort of show. Pat Berry and Joe Syverson are entertaining and fun, and they keep the energy going through each and every episode.
You'll definitely want to take a listen. You can go to www.mlmradioshow.com and sign up for free yourself. Or you can go to podcast.mlmradioshow.com and view a listing of each show they have in their archives.
I would love to hear what you think after listening. Do share!
I am going to assume that everyone uses some sort of marketing supplies for their business. If not...well, this may be why you are struggling. Now what I mean by marketing supplies is business cards, brochures, dvd's, flyers, things of this nature.
When you are out and about, handling your day to day business, paying bills, picking the kids up from school, going to the post office, that sort of thing, you never know when or where you might run into someone who needs what you have to offer. If you don't have anything to show or give to that person, you may have just lost out on a sale or even a future team member.
I suggest keeping some extra supplies in the trunk of your car. If you are a woman and carry a purse, keep some in there as well. A man can keep business cards in his wallet, or if he wears a jacket, he can keep a few things in there as well.
Overall, the idea is to always be prepared, that way you'll be ready when opportunity comes a knockin'.
